Noah was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough while working on both my air ducts and chimney. He took the time to explain everything and made sure the work was done properly from start to finish.

Wood-burning, gas or insert: sized to the room, vented to code, finished clean. One crew from the first visit to the first fire.

A new fireplace is a venting job before it is a furniture job. The unit has to fit the room, the flue has to fit the unit and the whole thing has to draw properly on a still, cold night. We handle it from the first visit to the first fire.
When Fireplace Installation May Be Needed
Most draft complaints, smoke smells and sooted glass on newer fireplaces trace back to the installation: an undersized flue, a vent run with too many elbows, a gas line without the right pressure. Doing the venting right the first time avoids years of service calls.

Replacing an old open masonry fireplace with an efficient insert

Buying a home in the Hill Country: the chimney and vent check the inspector skips
A general home inspection notes that the fireplace exists. It does not go up the flue, check the crown or find where the dryer vent ends. What to check before closing, and what it costs when you do not.

Frequently Asked
Questions About
Fireplace Installation
Wood, gas or insert: which should I choose?
Depends on how you use the room. We walk through it on the consultation and tell you honestly which fits the house and the budget.
Can you install a gas fireplace where there is no gas line?
Yes, with a licensed plumber for the line. We coordinate it.
Do you install inserts in old masonry fireplaces?
Yes. Inserts are the most common job we do: an efficient unit inside the old opening with a stainless liner up the existing flue.
How long does it take?
One to two days for most inserts and gas units. Masonry fireplaces take longer and we give you the timeline in writing.
