Terms & conditions
Effective date: September 12, 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of worldofchimney.com and the chimney, fireplace, dryer vent and roof-side services provided by World of Chimney, a Dream Franchise LLC company (“we,” “our,” “us”). By using the website or scheduling services with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide on-site residential and light commercial services including chimney sweeping, NFPA 211 inspections, chimney and firebox repair, cap, crown and flashing work, chimney relining and installation, gas fireplace service, fireplace installation and dryer vent cleaning. All services begin with a professional on-site inspection unless otherwise agreed in writing. No work is performed without your approval of the written price.
2. Estimates and pricing
The inspection is free. All pricing is provided in writing after the inspection, per line item. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Additional work not in the original quote requires your written or verbal approval before we proceed.
3. Payments
Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cards and other methods stated on the invoice. Unpaid balances may be referred for collection, with recovery of reasonable costs where permitted by Texas law.
4. Cancellations and access
Please provide safe and reasonable access to the fireplace, attic, roof and laundry area. If access is not available at the scheduled time, or an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, a service fee may apply.
5. Customer responsibilities
Disclose known problems, prior chimney fires and previous repairs; secure pets; clear the hearth and the area around the fireplace and dryer. We are not responsible for pre-existing structural, mechanical or hidden defects.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Texas law, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions or concealed damage discovered during service, for issues unrelated to the services performed, or for any amount exceeding what was paid for the specific service. Nothing here limits liability for gross negligence or fraud.
7. No guarantee of appliance lifespan
We do not guarantee the future performance or lifespan of a chimney, fireplace, liner, appliance or dryer. Maintenance recommendations are preventive. Manufacturer warranties on installed products are passed on to you.
8. Website use
All website content, including the World of Chimney name, logo, text, photographs and graphics, is our intellectual property and may not be copied or reproduced without written consent.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Burnet County, Texas.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the changes.
